As you may have noticed, I skipped publishing a story last week. Apparently raising three kids, holding a full-time job, working overtime, teaching Advanced Officer classes twice a week, practicing law, and trying to write articles weekly was a little much…haha. But do not fear, I am still writing plenty and will be publishing more very soon.
I have three articles that are in various stages of completion, but will need a little more time to fully complete them. There have also been some big changes that required me to change the article to reflect the new information. Thanks for your patience, new material is coming soon.
So in the interim, I would like to post a few things I have been reading from co-stars in The Epoch Times documentary “California’s Vanishing Dream.” I was interviewed back in December of 2021 for this project. I just watched the whole full length video and it is very well done.
If you are an Epoch Times subscriber please watch it. If you are not a subscriber, I believe it will be posted outside the pay wall in the next week or so. The trailer can be seen below:
LOU BARBERINI REPORTING ON SAN FRANCISCO
Lou is a former co-worker and friend of mine. You can also see him in the documentary above. But for the past couple of years, Lou has been writing stories the Chronicle or the Examiner won’t even begin to investigate. While they are busy selling stories, Lou has been doing real actual journalism.
Often a critic of the current District Attorney, who may soon be recalled, Lou brings receipts and the analysis of a CPA to prove his points and demand accountability.
Click here for his most recent story and follow him, you will not be disappointed.
MICHAEL SHELLENBERGER WRITING AND RUNNING FOR GOVERNOR
Michael Shellenberger is running for Governor of California. He wrote the book, San Fransicko, which I will say was very well done. Shellenberger also writes on Substack, you can find it here.
While Governor Newsom brings every excuse to why California is falling apart, Shellenberger seems to at least have some plans to help bring a shine back to the Golden State. He is a political novice, not like the politician created in a lab that Newsom appears to be. It will be interesting to see if these two go head to head in the general election in November.
In addition to his best selling book, Shellenberger’s Substack has many pieces on San Francisco and the inept government here, worth a look.
Thanks Rich for another good e-mail. I will open and read the links. Keep up the great work.
